As members of the Communion of Saints, one of the greatest acts of charity we can offer one another is to pray for the living and the dead. The greatest and most powerful prayer we have is the Mass, since the fruits of the Mass are the very fruits of Jesus' Redemption.   For that reason, all are encouraged to have Mass offered for loved ones who have died, or even for the living who have some need.   This is an ancient Christian practice, begun in the Church as early as the 2^nd century, and all are encouraged to take it up.

A Mass Offering Card is a religious card given to someone to let them know that they, or a deceased loved one, will be remembered and prayed for in the intentions at Mass. Mass cards are available during business hours at the office, or in both sacristies before or after Mass. If you do not need a Mass card, but would like to request that a Mass to be offered for your intentions, please call the parish office.
