Liturgical ministers are those who serve at our Masses. They are invited to join these ministries by the Pastor. Training is provided for all who serve in these ministries which include: Altar Servers, Children, Teens, and Adults serving as Lectors in our Parish. Lectors do more than read the Scriptures. They proclaim them as THE WORD OF THE LORD. Workbooks for lectors are provided so that the historical context and present-day meaning of each reading are clearly expressed in their reading at Mass.
Eucharistic Ministers are those who distribute the Eucharist to the congregation at Communion. Eucharistic Ministers are also invited to bring the Body of Christ to the homebound, local nursing homes and South Shore Hospital.
Ambassadors (Ushers and Greeters) are very important members of our weekend Masses. They are called to welcome God's People into our sacred worship space and to ensure that they receive a bulletin and song sheet to better participate in the liturgy and in events of our parish life. Ambassadors by their welcoming words and friendly smiles are a vital part of our worship experience.
"Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing Mother Teresa"
Ambassadors bring Mother Teresa's words to life in our parish.
